It is only a tiny rosebud

A flower of God's design;

But I cannot unfold the petals

With these clumsy hands of mine.

The secret of unfolding flowers

Is not known to such as I.

God opens the flower so sweetly,Then, in my hands, they died.

If I cannot unfold a rosebud,The flower of God's design,

Then how can I have the wisdom

To unfold this life of mine?

So, I'll trust in Him for leading Each moment of my day,

I will look to Him for His guidance

Each step of the Pilgrim's way.

The pathway that lies before me Only my Heavenly Father knows.

I'll trust Him to unfold the moments, Just as He unfolds the rose.

Dear Father, I place my hope in you and rest in the knowledge that you hold each day of my life in your very capable hands. Lord, I rely on your grace and power each day. Amen.

" You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety. " Job 11: 18

Thanks Samantha for praying for Mom. The poem
help to remind me that I can't infold a rose either, no more than I can know just exactly what He is doing with Mom. But I do know His ways are best. Keep praying and ask others to pray.

BEAUTIFUL post.
My girls and I read a book about waiting for Prince Charming. In the book they used the rose as analogy of a young woman's purity. If you rush or force a rose to open - it won't be as beautiful as it was meant to be by it's creator...

Loved this poem!
